"Art" Tastic Summer Camp, Smart With Art

Join us for a full day of art, games and FUN at Newport Heights Elementary! In the morning campers will learn about the circus and the fun characters that perform “Under The Big Top.” After taking a small break for lunch, campers will then start the afternoon by practicing their cartooning skills during “Comi-Camp.” If your child is not available for the full day then please check out our morning or afternoon options for registration.

July 7 - July 11 (M-F) 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

 9am-12pm (Part 1) Under The Big Top- Tigers, Lions and Bears… Oh my! Step right up and take a turn as we learn about the circus! There will be many outrageous animal art projects and campers will even get to master a few circus tricks. There will also be face paint, carnival games and prizes! Run away and join our circus this summer.

12:30pm-3:30pm (Part 2) Comi-Camp- Come explore the world of cartooning through drawing, painting and sculpture! Campers will have the opportunity to learn the many different styles of cartooning and learn fun facts along the way. During the week campers will create their own caricature, draw a humorous comic strip and learn the basic skills to create their own Manga characters. It will be a wonderful week of unique artwork and fun games.

Cost $359 (full day), $249 (part day)

 Registering early is highly recommended.

 Ages: 5-12
