Someone Is Throwing Nails In The Street In Southeast Bellevue
An "infrequent but recurring" problem along Southeast 60th Street: someone is pouring nails on the road.

BELLEVUE, WA - There's a sicko in southeast Bellevue - or someone who just really hates tires. According to Bellevue police, someone is throwing large amounts of nails in the roadway along Southeast 60th Street. The affected area is in the vicinity of the Open Window School north of Cougar Mountain.
Bellevue police responded to the area on July 11 on a report of "a large amount of nails" scattered across the roadway. The nail bandit struck at night on July 10, police believe, sometime between 8 p.m. and midnight.
"This is an infrequent but recurring problem in this neighborhood," police noted in a report.

2900 blk 142 PL Se
Wife got mad at her husband because she made dinner which he didn’t eat. Wife assaulted her husband. Suspect was arrested and transported to jail.

July 12, 8 p.m.
15000 Main Street
Suspect was seem by an officer getting his bong ready to smoke while sitting in the parking lot. Suspect was contacted and determined to be 19. Marijuana was recovered and suspect was released at scene pending charges.
July 14, 9:30 a.m.
4400 blk of Lake Washington Boulevard
Officers responded to Newcastle Beach Park for a found child. The 3 year old child had been playing with another group of kids for over an hour, however no one knew the parent. Eventually the father appeared and told officers he had been watching the child the entire time from his vehicle. Father had a warrant and was arrested. CPS was contacted and the child was turned over to them.
July 15, 1 p.m.
Coal Creek Pkwy SE / Factoria BLVD SE
Bellevue PD officers were dispatched to a hit/run collision involving a police pursuit. A WSP trooper attempted to stop a speeding vehicle on southbound I-405. The suspect vehicle exited the freeway recklessly made a left turn from the right turn only lane and drove into oncoming traffic as it traveled eastbound on Coal Creek PKWY SE. The suspect vehicle became trapped in the left turn only lanes so it rammed itself between the two victim vehicles, damage caused/no injury. The suspect vehicle continued on Coal Creek PKWY SE with WSP still in pursuit. Ultimately, the suspect was captured by WSP at his home and arrested for eluding. BPD provided support to WSP by contacting the victims and releasing the City of Bellevue traffic camera video. No BPD officers were involved in the pursuit. Command notified.
