Spill Closes Part Of Coal Creek Parkway In Bellevue

A truck spilled hydraulic fluid in the northbound lanes Tuesday afternoon.

BELLEVUE, WA - A spill of hydraulic fluid has shut down the northbound lanes of Coal Creek Parkway.

The closure affects the section between Factoria Boulevard and 124th Avenue Southeast, according to the Bellevue Department of Transportation. That stretch of Coal Creek Parkway is directly south of Newport High School.

About 50 gallons of hydraulic fluid spilled from a truck, the transportation department said.
