Video: 'Suspicious' Fire Engulfs Bellevue Condo Complex

The fire was reported just after 9 a.m. Monday in a Bellevue apartment building.

BELLEVUE, WA - Bellevue firefighters responded to a blaze at a condo complex Monday morning. The fire was located in one unit at the along the 2600 block of 139th Avenue Southeast, which is just northwest of Bellevue College of Kamber Road. Firefighters had the blaze under control quickly, and no one was injured.

A witness to the fire, Amber Johnson, shared video of the scene of the fire, which shows the entire facade of the building on fire. The unit on fire was heavily damaged, but the fire was contained to that single residence, the fire department reported. However, other units in the complex were damaged by water.

In a statement on Monday about the fire, the department called the fire "suspicious" and said that Bellevue police were looking into the matter.
