Bellevue Woman Dies Under Suspicious Circumstances

BELLEVUE, WA - Bellevue police were investigating the suspicious death of a woman in the Crossroads neighborhood Wednesday night. The investigation was happening along the 600 block of 153rd Avenue Northeast, which is about one block southwest of the Crossroads shopping center.

According to police, the woman was found in the backyard of a home. Firefighters attempted to revive her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

"Bellevue Police Detectives and the King County Medical Examiner have been called to the scene, and are currently working to determine how the individual died, as well as working to positively identify her and notify next of kin," Bellevue police wrote in a blog post Wednesday night.
