Suspicious Package At Bellevue Transit Center Destroyed
Bellevue police partially closed the transit center around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday.
BELLEVUE, WA - A suspicious package at the downtown Bellevue Transit Center was destroyed by the police bomb squad Wednesday afternoon. The package contained a battery pack, wiring, and a push button - but there were no explosives inside.
A portion of the transit center was shut down Wednesday around 12:30 p.m. The transit center is located at 10850 NE 6th St. in the downtown area and handles King County Metro and Sound Transit bus traffic.
