SUV Drives Onto Roof Of Bellevue Bar

No word on whether the driver had been drinking at the bar before the incident.

BELLEVUE, WA - A small SUV ended up on the roof of a Bellevue bar Wednesday morning. Bellevue police snapped a photo of the Lexus on top of the roof of the Goose Pub, 12001 Northeast 12th St.

Unfortunately for the Goose Pub, the roof of the bar is at level with a parking area behind the building. Bellevue police noted that the car jumped the curb, which is how it got up onto the roof.

Fortunately, this crash is not similar to the one in Orange County, Calif., last month when a sedan ended up lodged in the second story window of a building. The driver was speeding and high on drugs when he hit a median and launched his car into the building.

According to police, a crane will be brought to the scene to remove the SUV.
