The 17-year-old was found unresponsive at a home in the Crossroads area Wednesday night.

BELLEVUE, WA - The 17-year-old girl who was found dead Wednesday at a Bellevue home has been identified as Kayla Schumacher or Monroe. Police have not said she was murdered, but have said she did not die of "natural causes."
The King County Medical Examiner said Friday that Schumacher's cause and manner of death are still pending.
Police went to a home along the 600 block of 153rd Avenue Northeast Wednesday just before 8 p.m. They found Schumacher in the backyard. Firefighters attempted to resuscitate her, but were unsuccessful.
