Thieves Using Lime Cars In Bellevue Porch Thefts

The tiny Fiat Lime cars have been used in at least four incidents, according to Bellevue police.

BELLEVUE, WA — If you're familiar with videos of "porch pirate" thefts, you know that the thief's vehicle is often captured in surveillance footage. And that sometimes helps police make an arrest.

In Bellevue, porch pirates have been using rideshare cars to disguise thefts in northwest Bellevue , police say.

In at least four different recent thefts, a thief has used a Lime vehicle as a getaway car. A Bellevue officer tried to stop one suspect on April 29, but the thief took off speeding. Police are saying that they have a person of interest identified and are continuing to investigate.
