Tolls On 520 Bridge Increase This Weekend

BELLEVUE, WA - Paying the toll to cross the 520 bridge will hurt just a little bit more starting Saturday. The state Department of Transportation is hiking general toll rates, and eliminating free nighttime crossings - just in time for a busy holiday weekend.

Here are the details:

• There will be a 5 percent increase on Good To Go! weekday and weekend toll rates, which is about an increase of 20 cents at peak times. The 520 bridge toll rate increased the same amount on July 1, 2016.
• Goodbye free nighttime rides: crossings between 11 p.m. and 5 p.m. with increase from $0 to $1.25 per crossing if you have a Good To Go! pass, and $3.25 for pay-by-mail drivers

• Midnight to 4:59 a.m. $1.25 | $3.25
• 5 a.m. to 5:59 a.m. $2.00 | $4.00
• 6 a.m. to 6:59 a.m. $3.40 | $5.40
• 7 a.m. to 8:59 a.m. $4.30 | $6.30
• 9 a.m. to 9:59 a.m. $3.40 | $5.40
• 10 a.m. to 1:59 p.m. $2.70 | $4.70
• 2 p.m. to 2:59 p.m. $3.40 | $5.40
• 3 p.m. to 5:59 p.m. $4.30 | $6.30
• 6 p.m. to 6:59 p.m. $3.40 | $5.40
• 7 p.m. to 8:59 p.m. $2.70 | $4.70
