Video: Police Chase Ends In Crash At Bellevue Church

A Bellevue man was arrested after running from police and crashing in the Crossroads Bible Church parking lot.

BELLEVUE, WA - A short police chase early Thursday in Bellevue ended in a crash in a church parking lot, police are reporting. Police arrested the 21-year-old Bellevue man on multiple charges including DUI and hit and run.

The chase began around 3:15 a.m. after an officer ran the man's license plates. The plates came back stolen out of Everett. When the officer went to pull the man over, he took off and led several officers on a chase through the Eastgate neighborhood.

The man suffered minor injuries when he wrecked the car in the parking lot of Crossroads Bible Church. He was treated at the scene by Bellevue medics. No police officers were hurt in the crash.

Then, police arrested him on charges of DUI, hit-and-run, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a stolen vehicle, driving with a suspended license, failure to obey an officer, and several outstanding warrants.
