'We Want To Fight Your Daughter' Burglars Tell Bellevue Homeowner

Bellevue police believe the burglars attend Sammamish High School.

BELLEVUE, WA — These burglars were after something much more precious than jewelry, cash, or electronics. They were after a homeowner's daughter.

According to Bellevue police, two people tried to break into a home along the 14900 block of Northeast 10th Place last Thursday around 8:30 p.m. As the would-be burglars were removing a window screen to get into the house, the homeowner confronted them. The pair said they were at the home to fight the homeowner's daughter, according to police.

The two then fled the scene in a car. Bellevue police believe the burglars were Sammamish High School students, and the school's resource officer was notified.
