Winter Weather Advisory: Snow Possible In Puget Sound
With 1 to 3 inches of snow expected, the entire Puget Sound region is under a winter weather advisory.

BELLEVUE, WA - The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the entire Puget Sound region due to the possibility of 1 to 3 inches of snow in some areas.
The weather advisory is in effect from 10 p.m. Saturday through 10 a.m. Sunday. If it snows, precipitation will fall overnight and early Sunday morning, according to the forecast. The forecast calls for little to no snow at sea level; however, inland and elevated areas may see accumulations.

At lower elevations, snow or a rain-snow mix may fall, but forecasters expect it to melt once it hits the ground. Still, the weather advisory warns of potentially hazardous driving conditions throughout the day Sunday.

Saturday night: A chance of rain showers before 10pm, then rain and snow showers. Low around 36. South wind 11 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Sunday: Rain and snow showers, becoming all rain after 10am. High near 44. South wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Edmonds area:
Saturday night: Rain showers likely before 10pm, then rain and snow showers. Low around 36. East southeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming south in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Sunday: Rain and snow showers before 10am, then a chance of rain showers. High near 45. South southeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Tacoma-Puyallup area:
Saturday night: Rain and snow showers after 10pm. Low around 37. South southwest wind 14 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Sunday: Rain and snow showers, becoming all rain after 10am. High near 44. South wind 5 to 11 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Sunday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers before 10pm. Cloudy, with a low around 36. Light and variable wind becoming west 5 to 9 mph after midnight.
