The woman showed up at a Bellevue hospital with a man who was also injured.

BELLEVUE, WA - A woman was apparently shot in the hand along the Snoqualmie Valley Trail last week during a robbery, Bellevue police are reporting. The incident took place on Oct. 10, and the woman and a man she was with traveled to Bellevue to seek medical treatment.

According to police, the man and woman were walking along the Snoqualmie Valley Trail early in the morning on Oct. 10 when a suspect or suspects approached and tried to take the woman's purse. The woman ended up with a gunshot wound to the hand, and the man was knocked unconscious. He suffered a cut on his head during the ordeal. The pair were dropped off at Overlake Hospital around 7:15 a.m. for treatment.

The Snoqualmie Valley Trail runs from Snoqualmie Falls northwest to Duvall. Bellevue police turned the matter over to the King County Sheriff since the incident took place outside of Bellevue.
