Cordata Park North Entrance 6:15 - 7:30
Come to our Fall Invitational meeting for Cub Scout Pack 4003. Find out about Cub Scouts, have fun and meet our youth participants and our adult leaders.
Time: September 29, 2026 from 6:30 to 7:30ish PM, Cordata Park
We will be in (or close to) the open-air roofed pavillion at the North entrance to Cordata Park (that is, the entrance closer to the intersection of Cordata and Horton Road, not the further south entrance on Cordata).
Cub Scouts are a group of youth and their families assisting in youth development and engagement. If your household has older youth, Scouting would be right for you (see more information and links further below).
The program has 2 age groups: Cubs Scouts for ages K-5, which leads to Scouts (generally grades 6-12). Both levels help youth become confident positive leaders and contributors to their families, workplaces and communities.
Scouts and Parents from Troop 4003 will help organize activities for the Cubs from 6:30 - 7:15 (Scouts mentor and teach younger youth).
There will be representatives from the Council level present at this event to explain the Cub program, help with registration and scholarships, and answer questions.
Later in the evening, Troop 4003 Scouts will have a regular meeting, which gives families an opportunity to see how Cubs lead to Scouts, and see activities that the senior youth undertake as positive role models. Scout meetings for the older youth normally end at 8:30. If your family has both younger and older children, you might be interested in finding out about both groups.
About Cubs
Cub Scouts are a community of K-5 kids (boys and girls) and their parents.
·We’re all about encouraging youth to make friends, help others, get outdoors, build confidence and do their best.
·As a community we offer a range of activities and access to equipment and knowledge that many households are unable to provide. And, we help train adults and youth in the exploration that is available to them with that equipment and knowledge.
·Cubs learn new skills, learn about their community and understand how to make healthy choices about what they want to become as they grow and mature.
·As they make friends, practice social skills and learn about their world, they learn transferable skills to navigate their future lives and interests.
·Cub meetings
- Once per month there are Cub Pack meetings for the entire Pack (which can be composed of several smaller Dens).These can be held at locations convenient for Cub parents (or Explorations),
- 2-3 times per month regular Den meetings are where age specific activities typically happen. Dens are smaller groups specific to one or two grade levels. These can be at other locations closer to groups of households such as community centers (or Explorations can be used as a default location as arranged).

Our sponsor and frequent meeting place (when we are not meeting outdoors) is: Explorations Academy, 1701 Ellis St, Bellingham, WA .Please check our website to confirm where we will be when you come to visit. Scouts are welcome at any Tuesday evening meeting.
