2 Bonney Lake Children Injured In Serious SR 167 Crash
The crash happened along SR 167 in Tacoma at around 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

BONNEY LAKE, WA - Two children from Bonney Lake were injured in a serious crash along SR 167 in Tacoma Sunday afternoon. The children, ages 3 and 6, suffered scrapes and lacerations, but were otherwise fine, Washington State Patrol spokeswoman Trooper Brooke Bova reported.
State patrol reported that Sueanne Handegard, 27, of Bonney Lake, made a left turn across the northbound lanes of SR 167. An Audi sedan driven by Tanika Tsow, 24, of Tacoma, collided with Handegard's GMC Yukon. Handegard's two passengers - Kyle Plemmons, 33, of Aberdeen, and Jalen Moorehead, 22, of Tacoma - were both injured in the crash. Moorehead was taken to Tacoma General for an aortic injury, but Plemmons walked away from the crash.
The 3 and 6-year-old were both taken to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma to get checked out. Tsow and Handegard did not got to a hospital.

As of Sunday evening, police had not determined a cause of the crash or if anyone will be arrested or fined. The crash happened near 31st Avenue Court East, which is just southeast of I-5.
