3 Injured In Possible DUI Crash In Sumner
The suspected DUI crash happened early Wednesday morning near downtown Sumner, according to Washington State Patrol.

SUMNER, WA - An early morning crash near the intersection of SR 410 and SR 167 in Sumner left three people injured, and police suspect the cause might be an intoxicated driver. The crash happened around 1 a.m. Wednesday and involved a single vehicle.
According to Washington State Patrol, a 2016 Toyota Corolla driven by a 22-year-old Puyallup man was driving westbound along SR 410 approaching the on-ramp to SR 167. State police say the car was speeding, and failed to make the turn. The car flipped over and came to rest in a ditch near the on-ramp.
A 16-year-old girl from Bonney Lake and a 22-year-old from Puyallup, both passengers, were injured in the crash.

The crash is still under investigation, but state police are investigating charges of DUI and vehicular assault.
