6-Mile Backup Due To Collision, Tree Down
WSDOT is saying to seek alternate routes if you were planning on taking SR 167 this morning.

KENT, WA - An initial traffic crash followed by a downed tree - that caused more collisions - has traffic at a standstill on northbound SR 167 this morning. The Department of Transportation is reporting that while the road has been cleared since the crashes, there's still a six-mile backup. The initial collision was near the 84th Avenue South exit around 5 a.m. and shut down two lanes.
Another crash was reported at the intersection of southbound I-405 and 167 blocking the HOV lane around 6 a.m.
There's some congestion on I-5 too, but it's still preferable to the mess on 167.
