Amazon Hiring 1,200 At 'Jobs Day' Event
Interested candidates can visit the new Kent fulfillment center on Wednesday, which Amazon has dubbed "Jobs Day."

KENT, WA - Looking for a job? Wednesday might be your lucky day. Amazon needs to hire 1,200 part- and full-time workers at its Kent, Sumner, and DuPont fulfillment centers, and it will be doing "on-the-spot" job offers on Wednesday, which the company is calling "Jobs Day."
The new Kent fulfillment center will be open for candidates to tour on Aug. 2 from 8 a.m. to noon. The company will be making job offers to people who drop by, so bring ID if you're interested in an offer that day. There's also a dress code: no open-toed shoes or heels, no dangling jewelry, and hair longer than shoulder-length (and beards longer than 3 inches) should be pinned up.
If you can't make it to the event on Wednesday, Amazon is also accepting applications online. You can search for jobs in the valley area online here.
