Beyond the Borders Free Bus Service Continues for Sumner, Ends Sept. 30 in Bonney Lake
The pilot program will end on Sept. 30 in other Pierce County cities including Bonney Lake.
Information from the City of Sumner:
Pierce County announced that as of October 1, the Beyond the Borders bus service for low-income and seniors is continuing in Sumner.
The pilot program was to end September 30, so it's good news tous that now the program will continue, although with limited funding. Sumner's route times are cut back, but service remains. Service will be completely cut in Bonney Lake, Spanaway and Yelm, so Sumner remains a lucky community to keep this service.
