Bonney Lake Man Confesses To Burglary, Knows He's Going To Jail
"[Expletive] it, I'm going to jail for 10 years anyway," the man told Pierce County deputies nonchalantly.

BONNEY LAKE, WA - Pierce County deputies didn't have to do much to get a Bonney Lake man to apparently confess his role in a recent burglary. Figuring he was going to jail anyway, the 24-year-old told police "[expletive] it" and admitted what he did.
Around 2 a.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to a home in McMillan where a homeowner was holding a burglary suspect at gunpoint. When deputies arrested that man, they found a key to a Jeep in his pocket.
Nearby the scene of the burglary, deputies found a purple Jeep Liberty. When they tracked down the owner, the woman told police her son likely had the vehicle last. Police were able to get his phone number and called him. The man wouldn't tell police where he was, but he said he could see an Orting police officer near his location.

The man agreed to hang out with Orting police until the deputies could get there. When they did, the man was ready to confess, telling deputies he wanted to make some "quick cash" in a burglary.
He was arrested for second-degree burglar and a DWI warrant. Deputies found that the man had nine felony convictions on his record relating to theft, burglary, and theft of a gun.
