Bonney Lake Police: One Woman Involuntarily Committed, a Second Cited for Assault in Two Domestic Violence Incidents
The following information from March 10 through March 20 was provided by the Bonney Lake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

March 10, 2013
Warrant Arrest: Police arrested a man on a confirmed arrest warrant and who was also under suspicion for a vehicle theft after pulling him over on a bicycle on the 10000 block of 200th Avenue East at 9:30 p.m. for failing to wear a bicycle helmet and not having operating lights on. Several tools commonly used for burglaries and to start ignitions of stolen vehicles were found in his backpack.

Theft from Vehicle: Police responded to the 6800 block of Locust Avenue at 6:53 a.m. for a report that a truck parked in the driveway had been broken into overnight and items stolen from inside. The victim said he locked all the doors but discovered at 6:45 a.m. That morning the passenger side door window was broken and the door itself was unlocked. A leather duffel bag on the passenger seat with some musical equipment was stolen.
Domestic Violence: Police responded to a home on the 18100 block of 113th Street Court East at 1:50 p.m. for a report of a suicidal woman and found the woman being restrained by her boyfriend when they arrived. She had reportedly assaulted her mother-in-law who had taken her children to a neighbor for safety reasons. The woman was taken to a recovery center by East Pierce Fire and Rescue for an involuntary commit and charges were being forwarded to the city prosecutor for assault domestic violence.

Shoplifting: Police cited a woman for theft after responding to Target at 7:03 p.m. following a report she had stolen 29 items valued at $347. The items were recovered.
Shoplifting: Police cited a woman for third-degree theft after responding to Walmart at 7:15 p.m. for a report she was seen attempting to steal 8 bottles of liquor valued at $322. The items were recovered.

Keys Found: A city employee at 1:27 p.m. turned in a set of 15 keys on a key ring with no identifying marks on it that was found at Bonney Lake High School earlier that day.
March 20, 2013
Domestic Violence: Police issued a criminal citation for assault fourth-degree domestic violence for the wife of a man who reported at 9:11 a.m. that she had scratched him during an argument at their home on the 19400 block of 76th Street East. The woman was not at the location when police arrived but the responding officer noted marks, scrapes and fresh blood running down the side of the husband's face.
