Bonney Lake Scratch Ticket Bandit ID'd
This thief's luck ran out the minute he decided to steal hundreds of dollars in scratch tickets.
BONNEY LAKE, WA - To win money off a scratch ticket, the odds have to be in your favor. In the case of a man who stole scratch tickets from a Bonney Lake gas station, the odds were just not there for him.
According to police, the thief stole about $200 in scratchers from the AM/PM on Oct. 12. He then went to a Shell station in Sumner to steal even more tickets.
Police were able to snag surveillance images of the thief, including of his getaway car. After publicizing the photos, Bonney Lake police got a tip and were able to identify the thief, they reported Wednesday.
