Boys Soccer: Twin Hat Tricks Pace Bonney Lake

James Glavin and Jordan Billy net three goals apiece as Panthers cruise to 6-0 victory over Lakes.

The Bonney Lake Hig School boys soccer team launched a second-half onslaught to turnΒ a close match into a blowout Monday night, beating Lakes 6-0 in a South Puget Sound League 3A matchup.

James Glavin and Jordan Billy each netted hat tricks in the victory that improve the Panthers to 5-1-2Β (1-1-1Β SPSL 3A) this season.

Bonney Lake led 1-0 at halftime on a 25th minute goal from Glavin before turning it on in the second half.

Billy scored two goals in a 10-minute span early in the second half to give the Panthers a 3-0 lead in the 62nd minute. Glavin and Billy then combined for three goals in the final 10 minutes of the game to finish off the scoring.

Alex Hall recorded the shutout for Bonney Lake, while Austin Curtis picked up two assists in the win.
