June, through the eyes of a dancer,

June is the one of the most greatest months of the year. It's the last month of school, two months before my birthday, and most importantly, dance recital month. It's also probably one of the most craziest months because since it's the last month of school, kids are rushing to get their assignments in, teachers are trying to update grades and can't wait to get away from all the bratty little kids.

June is even crazier if you're a dancer because you have to go to dress rehearsal; make sure you have the right costume, make up, and tights; make sure your hair isn't in your face; and most importantly, make sure you're not late. Then comes the recital. Parents rushing their kids out the door asking them millions of questins like "did you brush your teeth?" "do you have your tap shoes? jazz shoes? ballet shoes?" "do you have everything you need" and also saying things like "wait let me fix your hair." It can get really stressful and all you really want is for your parents to leave you alone so you can head backstage and dance your heart out.
