Best and Worst Inventions
Everyone should have different lists. Make a list of those that first come to mind. Why are these items significant. I found it amazing how quickly the list can change.
These are my best and worst inventions, not from a survey.
Selecting best versus worst I determined by what is a necessity for the best
and what is not a necessity for the worst.
Each invention is followed by some of the things that developed from it.

1. Wheel - Pulley, anything that moves
2. Indoor Plumbing - Faucets, Hot Water, Toilets, Showers, Heat
3. Glass Windows - Heat, Sliding Doors, Sky Lights, Solar Power
4. Printing Press - Bible, Books, Newspapers, Magazines, Posters
5. Telegraph - Radio Transmission, Telephone, Satellites, Wireless, Fiber Optics
6. Automobiles - Trucks, Tractors, Heavy Equipment
7. Airplanes - Jets, Rockets, Space Shuttles, Space Stations
8. Radio Broadcast - Media, Recordings, Entertainment, Television
9. Calculators - Computers, PC's, Internet, Laptops, Smart phones

Worst Inventions
1. Gunpowder - Rapid Fire Weapons, Bombs, Killing
2. Cigars - Cigarettes, Pipes, Cancer
3. Liquor - Gin, Scotch, Vodka, Whiskey, Narcotics, Addiction
4. Stock Exchanges - Depressions, Recessions, Greed
5. Slot Machines - Gambling

My worst inventions are not bad by themselves. It is how they are used, or abused .
