Football: Sumner Cruises to 26-9 win over Kingston

The Sumner Spartans are moving on to the state quarterfinals after defeating the Kingston Buccaneers 26-9 Friday night.

Quarterback Chase Torgison got the Spartans on the board first when he scored on a 6 yard run, putting Sumner up 6-0 late in the 1st quarter. The Spartans then got an interception from Jeremy Jackson, who took it 45 yards for the pick-6. The touchdown extended the Sumner lead to 14-0.....
