Seahawks were at home taking on the number one defense in the NFL the Baltimore Ravens. If you would have asked for a prediction before the game I would have thought for sure Tarvaris Jackson was going to be knocked out by halftime. Instead thanks to the outstanding play of the offensive line, defense and special teams the Seahawks hold on for the win. Seahawks 22 Ravens 17
The Seahawks offense came on the back of Marshawn Lynch. He had another 100+ yard rushing game, 58 yards passing and one touchdown. This gave him back to back 100+ yard rushing games for the first time in his career. To watch any highlights you will see the Ravens defense that Marshawn dragged along with him on his runs.
Marshawn Lynch's best play came on the last series of the game when the Seahawks were trying to run down the clock. It was third down and five; Tarvaris Jackson did a quick dump off pass to Marshawn Lynch who would have been short of the first down if stopped. But thanks to his little stutter step he left Ray Lewis and Jarret Johnson pig piled on top of each other and ran for an eight yard gain and a first down.

The Seahawks offensive line opened the holes for the running game and Tarvaris Jackson time to throw without being sacked. The Seahawks offense ran the last 5:52 off the game clock and kept the Ravens offense from getting one last chance to score.
The defense did their job by only giving up 75 rushing yards and creating havoc with their pass coverage. They held the Ravens top rusher Ray Rice to a mere 27 yards. Flacco had his highest amount of pass attempts in a game with 52. He had one interception but was lucky there was not two more. The special teams for the Seahawks managed to recover two kick off return fumbles by the Ravens.

If I have one complaint about the game is that Steven Hauschka had five field goals. Three times the Seahawks started on the Ravens 20, 18 and 19 yard line and could not get a touchdown. If one of those field goals would have been a touchdown that would have put the game out of reach.
By the numbers:
Seahawks had over 100 yards in penalties
Seahawks had three takeaways and no turnovers
It was the first time this season the Seahawks lead at halftime.
The Seahawks 12 point lead was also their biggest lead of the season.
Seahawks led the time of possession by more then 11 minutes.
Fun Fact:
In salute of Veteran's Day last Friday, 87 year-old George Hickman a worker at the C-link raised the 12th man flag before the start of the Seahawks game. What makes him special is that he is one of the few surviving members of the Tuskegee Airmen. I have attached a link to his story, it is worth reading.
