Rhapsody Color Guard Clinic

My first blog that isn't focused on dance. Feel free to comment.

Last week on December 10th, I attended the Rhapsody Color Guard clinic at Gateway  Middle School. There were about 200 total people (or as my friends from color guard would say "oceans of people").

The instructors and everyone else were very nice it was like one big happy family. I started off the day with lyrical level 2 and we learned a dance to "It Will Rain" by Bruno Mars. Next was Flag Level 1. We learned the basics of tossing and spinning. After that was lunch. At lunch we had pizza and I got to meet some new people. Then came hip hop level 2. It was fun, intense, and challenging mixed into one. After that was show and tell, where we got together with the group we were win and show what we learned.

Finally it was time for the Wiggles performance. The Wiggles (aka the Rhapsowiggles) are a group in Seattle ran by the Rhapsody Color Guard for people aged 5-10. They basically do the same thing you would see in regular color guard but with smaller flags. So if you know someone who lives in/near the Seattle area and might be interested just look them up on google.
