Rhubarb Days Kid's Farming Parade
Children's Farming Parade to Kick of Rhubarb Days July 14th

Years ago, Sumner used to have a May Day Parade. As a "kind of"
revival of this parade (although now in the summer versus spring)...the
Children’s Farming Parade will allow for children to dress as their favorite
bug, flower, animal, fruit or vegetable.
This will be a short parade this year starting at Alder and working its way down Main Street to Kincaid...ending in Heritage Park. Kids can decorate their bikes, wagons, skate boards, scooters or even their pets. There will be prizes for the Most Creative Costume, Best Decorated Bike ( or other), Cutest Costumed Pet, and Best in Theme (keeping with Rhubarb Days).

What a great way to involve your club, church or pre-schools. Families are especially encouraged to participate. Entries can be obtained by contacting laurie@sumnerdowntown.com or by visiting our Rhubarb Days website at www.rhubarbtimes.com. You can also request a registration form at the Sumner Downtown Association office located at 906 Kincaid Ave or call us at 253-720-9846.
