Rhubarb Days Seeks Commercial Food Vendor

Rhubarb Days Seeks Food Vendors for July 13th and 14th

The Sumner Downtown Association is seeking additional food vendors for Rhubarb Days.  Specifically, we are seeking a Mexican Food Vendor and perhaps a Chinese Food Vendor.  Presently we have:  a burger, hot dog, & corn vendors.  We would like to offer a variety of food items but plan to keep the food court small.  We would consider a BBQ booth or even a Philly Steak and Cheese booth.  Cost is $150 a space and SDA takes care of the Temporary Booth Permit.  The deadline is June 1st to receive your application.

Rhubarb Days is a two day event held July 13th and 14th to celebrate Sumner's Agricultural History and its designation as the Rhubarb Pie Capital of the World.  Sumner is the second largest producer of Rhubarb in the US.  The hours of operation will be 10 am to 7 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 3 pm on Sunday. This event includes:  craft vendors, childrens games, live music in Heritage Park, History Walks, Mini-Farmers Market, Non-profit organization booths, a beer garden sponsored by the Northwest Brewing Company, a Rhubarb Bake Off, Rhubarb Pie Eating Contest, a Children's Parade, a Childrens Petty Zoo and a Community Talent Show.  Come be a part of Sumner's fastest growing event.

Interested parties may contact us at 253-891-4260.
