So- yesterday we had our second . Watched the 1952 classic Singing in the Rain, played Bingo, ate from a delicious baked potato bar and sampled an abundance of incredible cupcakes-some made with beets!
Our topics of discussion centered around spring things, such as favorite spring scents, favorite spring tastes and what one's favorite activity on a rainy day is!
There was a greaet deal of famliiarity in people's opinions and they turned out sounding resoundingly northwest which is why I am sharing!

Favorite spring scents:
Evergreens after the rain (which is perfect, since we have such an abundance of both), freshly mowed lawns, lilacs (our on the hill aren't blooming yet but evidently in the valley they are), hyacinths and Easter Sunday cheesecake.

Favorite Spring tastes:
Almond pastels, chai tea, strawberry lemonade, strawberry shortcake, raspberries, rhubarb pie ( of course, it IS Sumner the Rhubarb Pie Capital of the World!) and corned beef and cabbage.
Favorite activity on a rainy day:
Baking, sketching, napping, watching movies, board games, reading and puddle jumping!
