Sumner Food Bank to Benefit at Sumner's Rhubarb Days

Sumner Food Bank to collect non-perishable goods at Sumner's Rhubarb Days.

Are you planning to attend Rhubarb Days in Sumner on July 14th?  If so, you can do something for a neighbor in need.

The Sumner Food Bank will have a booth at this year's event and the Sumner Downtown Association is asking those who plan to attend to bring a non-perishable item to be delivered to the Sumner Food Bank Booth.

The economy continues to create need in our community.  You can be a part by supporting your neighbors in their greatest time of need.  Why not challenge your friends or family to see who can bring the fullest bag of non-perishable goods to Rhubarb Days?  Every little bit helps - here are some of the basic needs:  Sugar, bread, crackers, meat, toothpaste, tooth brushes (just in case), soap, shampoo, breakfast items, canned beverages, laundry soap, and so much more.
