The Smell of Mowed Grass in the Morning

This weather has been almost perfect. Do you realize that there are some areas of the world that dream of our climate?  

So, mowing and grooming each nice day has inspired me to create garden art.

On that note, Mayor Johnson is allowing me to conduct a contest at the Community Garden here in Bonney Lake.

The Garden has been a wonderful place to bring folks together and get in the dirt. So, being creative and an advocate for the arts in Pierce County, I am excited to suggest to the plot owners that they decorate their plot in a creative way for a judging. The winners will get something for the place they won. (Donations are welcome).

Now that the season is beginning and the plots are being planted, I will do the steps needed to  start the message  around.

Any suggestions will be appreciated sent my way for wonderful prizes.

Community outreach is a must these days when money is tight.
