Three Types of Dance Studios

Everybody's at least heard of a dance studio, but has everybody heard of the three types/levels of dance studios? There's the level one studio (aka the hobby studio), the level two studio (aka the select studio) and the level three studio (aka the selection studio).

The hobby studio is pretty self explanatory. It's the studio that people go to just for fun or have something to do after school. Hobby studios are usually non-competitive studios and do a lot of advertising to get people to come to their studio.

The select studio is where people select/choose to go to your dance studio. Select studios usually get people to their studios by having what is called "a shop window;" ie. a video on Facebook/Youtube, an amazing dancer who everybody's heard about, etc. Some people could or will travel up to 10 possibly more miles to go to a select studio.

The selection studio (aka the harvard studio) is the studio where you select the dancers. and the dancer has to be really good to get in and willing to make sacrifices.
