The Hungry Housewives

Founded in '04 as a meal swap group among PTA volunteers, Founder Alisa began sharing simple food and household tips/tricks through The Hungry Housewives. We wanted to give more to our community, so we started hosting charity events like fashion shows, scrapbooking day retreats, relay fundraisers, etc. Then in 2012, we started a vendor/craft show that has ran every year, with the exception of two during covid.
As time moved on, so did the others in our group, but the Garate family continues to host the Craft Fair in Buckley, WA every October, and they donate 100% of the proceeds from the Door Prize to their chosen charity that year.
