Dude Totally Not Guilty Of Growing Weed

A man caught at a Milton house with more than 800 hundred marijuana plants claimed he was watering his friend's plants.

MILTON, WA - When in doubt, feign ignorance. A man police found in a Milton home under a flood tray pleaded not guilty to charges of unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance and was held on $50,000 bond, KIRO 7 reported. The 700 block of 11th Ave. reportedly contained 884 marijuana plants in two homes connected by an underground tunnel along with 30 lbs. of pot contained in garbage bags.

The 49-year-old man said he had run out of money after coming from New York and went looking for work outside a Home Depot. He found work when a someone asked him to "water his plants." Another man was also arrested in the bust.
