Hazmat Response In Sumner Over Possible Ammonia Spill
Fire crews were on scene early Tuesday morning for a possible ammonia spill along Puyallup Street.

SUMNER, WA - Fire crews are responding to a possible ammonia spill at a business along Puyallup Street in Sumner. The spill was at Shining Ocean Inc., located at 1515 Puyallup Street. As of 6:30 a.m., Puyallup Street was closed.
Firefighters from Lakewood, Puyallup, and Bonney Lake were on scene.
Shining Ocean is a food company that specializes in making surimi, a fish paste that is most often used to make imitation crab meat.
