House Fire Breaks Out Near Downtown Sumner
The fire was reported just before 7 a.m. Monday along Meeker Avenue.

SUMNER, WA - East Pierce firefighters quickly knocked down a small house fire in the downtown Sumner area Monday morning. The fire broke out in a home near Meeker Avenue and Academy Street, about two blocks south of Sumner High School, just before 7 a.m.
The fire was under control in about 10 minutes, according to East Pierce. There were no injuries to report.
