League Units to discuss environmental health in Pierce County
Health of air, water, soils impact human health. What are Pierce County's challenges?

Marianne Seifert of the Pierce County Health Department has gathered a range of speakers for members and guests attending LWVT-PC November Unit meetings.
Speakers will report how our county is challenged to manage its solid waste, its air and water quality, agricultural lands, greenhouse gas emissions, and biodiversity in Pierce Countyβs wide variety of valuable ecosystems. Meeting attendees will learn how these issues affect lifestyles and health of the human population.
