Local League Units to discuss Human Trafficking in September
League of Women Voters of Tacoma-Pierce County present a program each second Saturday at the Puyallup Public Library
League of Women Voters of Tacoma-Pierce County will present a program co-sponsored by Pierce County Coalition Against Trafficking (PCCAT) and the Washington Engage entitled βHow Can We Help Prevent Human Trafficking?β at its four area Unit meetings in September. The main speaker will be Ivy Berger from SMART Programs. Katie Wyatt and Anne Lester from PCCAT will help answer questions and share first-hand experiences.
The September 13th program is from 10 a.m. until Noon and is open to the public at the Puyallup Public Library, 324 S. Meridian, Puyallup, WA.
