Meatloaf Recall: Taylor Farms Northwest Pulls Products In Washington, Oregon
The company is recalling its meatloaf products due to mislabeling.
KENT, WA - Taylor Farms Northwest is pulling about 79 pounds of meatloaf products distributed in Washington and Oregon because of a labeling error, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The recall covers 16-ounce pans of "turkey meatloaf with kale" and 16-ounce pans of "home-style meatloaf." Both products have sell-by dates of Dec. 10, 2016. The products also bear the establishment number "EST. 34834."
The mislabeling caused the turkey kale product to bear the ingredients label of the home-style meatloaf, which means potential allergens - milk and anchovies - were left off of the turkey kale label. The home-style meatloaf was also mislabeled, which means that the correct ingredients were not on the product.
