Obama Endorses Kim Schrier In WA-8 Race
The former president also endorsed two other Washington Democrats in the mid-term election race.

BONNEY LAKE, WA - Democratic congressional candidate Kim Schrier picked up perhaps her biggest endorsement of the 2018 election on Monday. Former President Barack Obama is now behind her campaign, adding to endorsements from prominent Democrats like Gov. Jay Inslee and U.S. Sens. Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell.
Schrier is locked in a tight race with Republican opponent Dino Rossi. A poll conducted last week by the New York Times showed Schrier with just a one-point lead over Rossi.
Rossi has the backing of officials like former attorney general Rob Mckenna and U.S. Reps. Dave Reichert, Cathy McMorris Rodgers, and Jaime Herrera Beutler. Both Rossi and Schrier have dozens more endorsements from local political groups and city and county-level elected officials.

In addition to Schrier, Obama endorsed Democrats Lisa Brown (running against McMorris Rodgers) and Carolyn Long (running against Herrera Beutler).
Today, Iβm proud to endorse even more Democratic candidates who arenβt just running against something, but for somethingβto expand opportunity for all of us and to restore dignity, honor, and compassion to public service. They deserve your vote: pic.twitter.com/NO5jnhX3XD
