Game of the Week:Decatur 87, Auburn Mountainview 77 – Auburn Mountainview needed a victory to take over second place in the SPSL 3A, but Jerron Smith made sure that wouldn’t happen. Smith, the all-time leading scorer in Decatur history, scored 31 points to lead the Gators to a 87-77 win.
Jerron Smith, Decatur – Smith averaged over 23 ppg in three victories for Decatur, which stayed in contention for first place in the league leading up to the Feb. 1 showdown with first-place Lakes.

Game of the Week:Auburn Mountainview 52, Bonney Lake 33 – A week after upsetting first-place Lakes, Bonney Lake came up short in its bid to tie Auburn Mountainview for second place. Hattie Kosko led AM with 15 points in the win.
Caitlin Carr, Auburn Mountainview – Carr averaged 15 ppg as the Lions picked up three much-needed conference wins during the week.

Game of the Week:White River 51, Sumner 50 – White River needed a victory to keep pace for a playoff spot and got it with a narrow victory over Sumner. Billy Kiel scored 11 points in the win for White River.
Player of the Week:Tana Pritchard, Clover Park – Clover Park recovered from its narrow non-league loss to cross-town Lakes on Saturday in a big way last week. Tana Prictchard was a big reason why, as the senior big man averaged 24.5 ppg in two victories to pace CP.
