Search Ends For Man Who Fell Into Puyallup River
The man was fishing with his family Monday night when he accidentally fell into the Puyallup River near Sumner.

SUMNER, WA - The search for a man who fell into the Puyallup River Monday night was called off on Wednesday afternoon. The 45-year-old man was fishing with his family Monday when he slipped and fell into the Puyallup River near Sumner. His family told emergency personnel that he didn't know how to swim, and he wasn't wearing a life jacket when he fell.
Swift water rescue crews searched the river for about three days, but were unable to locate the man.
