Sumner, Edmonds, Kirkland Have This In Common: Seattle Magazine
Sumner, Edmonds, and Kirkland are in the "best of the burbs" issue of Seattle Magazine for the same thing.

SUMNER, WA - At first glance, Kirkland, Edmonds, and Sumner seem pretty different. One is located on a lake, the other located on Puget Sound, and the other located inland in the shadow of Mt. Rainier.
But Sumner, Edmonds, and Kirkland all have one thing in common: Seattle Magazine has ranked each city's downtown as among the best in the region.
Seattle Magazine's March issue is devoted to the "best of the burbs." All three of the local cities, spread across three counties, made the list for the walkability of each downtown area.

Downtown Sumner, for example, features a number of restaurants, antique shops, and bars within a few blocks - plus it has a Sounder station right downtown. The Sounder stops in Edmonds, too, but Kirkland is still awaiting a rail station, which is still in the distant future.
