Sumner Gunpoint Coffee Stand Robber Identified: Police
Have you seen him? The suspect in the photos has robbed coffee stands in Sumner, Federal Way, and Kent, police say.
SUMNER, WA - Kent police on Wednesday released photos of a man wanted in a string of gunpoint coffee stand robberies from Sumner to Federal Way. The suspect has driven a tan Ford pickup during the robberies, and has used a gun to extract cash from his victims.
On top of terrorizing baristas at gunpoint, the truck the suspect is driving was stolen from a Tacoma Army veteran, according to KOMO News. Danny Stokes bought the truck to drive him and his friends to the 2017 Capitol Ruck Tour, which benefits the charity Operation Enduring Warrior.
The suspect has committed four robberies, including two times at the same Kent coffee stand.
