Sumner Man Who Gave Bonney Lake Teen Chlamydia Gets Jail Time

The victim was a 15-year-old and contracted the STD three times from the man, according to a report.

BONNEY LAKE, WA - A 21-year-old Sumner man who allegedly gave a sexually transmitted disease to a 15-year-old Bonney Lake teenager was sentenced to more than two years in prison earlier this month, according to a report.

Jarrett Day pleaded guilty to third-degree rape in relation to the case, and on Jan. 20 was sentenced to two years and five months in prisons, according to the Tacoma News-Tribune.

The teen had befriended Day, according to the report, and then the two became sexual partners. The teenager contracted chlamydia three times over a span of about 9 months.
