Sumner School District Welcomes Students Back to School

Elementary Schools
Wednesday late start time and school day schedule for students in grades 1-5, there are no kindergarten classes.  

The first day of school for full-time kindergarten and blue kindergarten classes is September 6; red kindergarten classes begin September 9. 

Buses will operate on the Wednesday late start schedule.

Breakfast and lunch will be served to students in all grades.

Middle Schools
Sixth graders will be picked up according to regular weekday bus schedule (not theWednesday late start schedule) for a full school day schedule.

School start time is 7:25 a.m.

Seventh and eighth graders will begin school at 12:25 p.m., bus transportation will be provided five hours later than the regular weekday bus schedule (not theWednesday late start schedule).

For example, if your regular morning bus pick-up time is 7:10 a.m., please go to your stop at 12:10 p.m.

School lunch will not be served to students in grades 7 and 8.

High Schools
Ninth graders will be picked up according to regular weekday bus schedule (not the Wednesday late start schedule) for full school day schedule.

School start time is 7:25 a.m.

Students in grades 10-12 will begin school at 12:25 p.m., bus transportation will be provided five hours later than the regular weekday schedule (not the Wednesdaylate start schedule).

For example, if your regular morning bus pick-up time is 7:10 a.m., please go to your stop at 12:10 p.m.

School lunch will not be served to students in grades 10-12.

All schools will have regular afternoon dismissal times and bus schedules.
