Support Sumner High Track Team By Eating Pancakes

Come support the Sumner High track team on April 2 by eating pancakes at Applebee's.

BONNEY LAKE, WA - Contrary to what those fad diets say, eating lots of carbohydrates is extremely beneficial for athletes.

Especially if those athletes are on the Sumner High School Track and Field team.

The Spartan Boosters club will host a pancake breakfast in support of the Sumner High track team next weekend. The event happens April 2 between 8 and 10 a.m. at the Applebee's in Bonney Lake, 9430 192nd St. East.

You can buy tickets by emailing Ayn Topz at ayntopaz@yahoo.com - but the fundraiser is also open to walk-in pancake-and-track lovers.

The spring track season is well underway: the first meet was March 11. So do some stretches, grab a cup of coffee, and eat get ready to eat some pancakes - those carbs will be good for someone, even if it's not you.
